The course, developed in consultation with childcare experts, is aimed at ensuring the childminder’s understanding of the needs of babies, toddlers and the young child. We deal with the growth and development of children, stimulation and play, hygiene routines, potty training, balanced nutrition and how to present exciting, wholesome meals for toddlers. Ensuring proper and adequate safety measures are provided in the home is a vital part of the programme.
